Introduction:
I am a second year PhD student at ENS de Lyon, in the UMPA department. I am working under the supervision of Benjamin Wesolowski, as part of the ERC grant AGATHA CRYPTY. My research is focused on post-quantum cryptography, more specifically isogeny based cryptography.
Previously, I completed my integrated master’s MSci Mathematics and Philosophy at the University of Bristol. My mathematics thesis, «The Mathematics Behind Blockchain», under the supervision of Tim Dokchitser, focused on understanding the algebraic and geometric structure of elliptic curves, and exploring how these properties can be used to build cryptographic primitives, such as the Diffie-Hellman key exchange. During the summer before my final year, July 2023 - September 2023, I was also a Mary Lister McCammon Research Fellow at Imperial College London, where I worked with Netan Dogra on a project involving exceptional units and p-adic logarithms.
As part of the joint honours program, under the supervison of Max Jones, I also completed a thesis in philosophy, «Are there limitations to our understanding of consciousness?» , as well as a final year project, «Are OCD delusions adaptive misbeliefs?». The first argues that due to the structure of the human brain we are limited in our understanding of consciousness, while the second argues that delusions, focusing specifically on delusional OCD, are short term psychologically adaptive misbeliefs.
